Is Platform Rack Or Wheel Mount Rack Better For Heavy Bike?

Question:

I’ve seen a lot of Reddit posts saying platform/wheel-mounted racks are more stable than hanging frame-mount versions. Can you explain why? Bike is on the heavy side.
