If you’ve already invested in a tow bar, this base plate works with it. It’s compatible with all etrailer tow bars and Demco Victory Series tow bars without any adapter. For other brands, just add the right adapter—e98979, e98980, e98981, e98982, e98983, or e98984 (sold separately). That flexibility saves you from having to change out your whole towing setup.
A built-in bracket lets you mount a round electrical connector plug at the front of your vehicle. That keeps your wiring organized and easy to connect when you’re getting ready to tow. Everything you need to make the electrical hookup neat and accessible is right there in the design.

Not bad. It was easy to mount, took about an hour. It’s Steel so not much to say with regard to it malfunctioning. Seems to be a Demco, at least that’s what the caps say. I bought it cause it looked like it would fit my inexpensive VEVOR tow bar. Had to remove a thin layer of metal so the connector from the tow bar would slip on easy. Pins aligned right up. Tow bar was less than the base plate so I completed this project for very little money compared to having it done. For a big hunk of steel, its really nice!! Recommend it…
