When you’re not towing, this setup keeps your front end looking factory clean. The hidden brackets sit farther back than standard ones so they stay out of sight. Once you remove the drawbars, the remaining mounts are virtually invisible and protected within the grille area from scrapes and scuffs.

You can tackle this job at home with basic tools since welding isn’t required. The custom-fit design aligns with existing points on the frame for a simpler install. With clear instructions and all necessary hardware included, it’s a solid weekend project that’s easy to take on by yourself.
Roadmaster direct-connect base plates will only work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the Nighthawk, Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. These base plates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball. Fish wire bolt leaders (80101-1 - sold separately) are required for complete installation.

Our Roadmaster base plate and tow bar are still going strong..we use the rig about 7 months of the year and it is holding up beautifully...so glad we went with this product from etrailer
