Question:
What is the best Base plate for 2017 Ford Fiesta hatchback standard shift Econo
asked by: Joe W
Expert Reply:
The base plate I'd recommend depends on how the car's equpped. If it's a 1.0 or 1.6 Turbo ST, SFE or EcoBoost, then I'd go with the # 524441-5. For everything else except the ST, EcoBoost and models with the SFE package, use # 524438-5.
You'll also need a tow bar, safety cables, a wiring solution, a supplemental braking system and possibly a high/Low adapter. If you'd like some specific recommendations about the other equipment, let me know and I'd be glad to help.
