When you’re done towing, you don’t want bulky hardware hanging off the front end. This kit keeps things tidy with a hidden bracket design that tucks neatly into the grille. The square drawbars remove easily with two hitch pins, leaving the remaining brackets virtually invisible. It keeps the front of your vehicle looking factory-clean and free from shin or knee hazards when not in use.
Getting hooked up doesn’t have to be a hassle. Each drawbar slides into place and secures with simple hitch pins, so you can connect or disconnect without tools or complicated steps. The setup also includes smaller holes that let you padlock the arms for theft protection. That means a fast, reliable connection you can trust every time you tow.
This base plate kit is built from computer-cut, all-steel components that give it exceptional strength and a precise fit. The black powder coat finish resists corrosion and holds up through weather and road grime. Once bolted on, it reinforces the frame connection points for dependable towing mile after mile with no welding required.
This crossbar-style base plate works with Roadmaster tow bars when paired with the quick-disconnect crossbar #910021-00 (sold separately). That makes it easy to integrate into an existing Roadmaster towing setup without having to replace your gear. The kit includes instructions and mounting hardware so you can get a solid, aligned install before your next trip.
When the removable arms are out, you can keep moisture and dirt from getting into the receiver tubes using Roadmaster Black Receiver Inserts for MX and XL Brackets #RM-200-5 (sold separately). It’s a simple way to prevent corrosion inside the mounts so the arms slide back in smoothly when you’re ready to hook up again.
This base plate kit provides attachment points for a tow bar on compatible Honda CR-V models. Other flat towing components such as tow bar, safety cables, lighting, supplemental braking system, and high/low adapter are not included and must be purchased separately as applicable.

Installed on 1998 Honda CR-V. Excellent instructions and online video. NO cutting or modification was required to vehicle (some CR-V models have additional plastic trim). The adapter kit fit PERFECTLY per instructions. Total install time was ONE HOUR. Please note the instructions require Locktite RED for the bolts which should be acquired before starting the project. You will need metric tools for the Honda bolts and standard US tools, including torque wrench, for the adapter kit. The kit is EXCELLENT quality.
