Video Transcript for Review of PowerMax RV Water Pump - Diaphragm Pump - PM87VR

Hi everyone, Steven here with the eTrailer. Let's talk pumps. This is the PowerMax RV fresh water pump. You're gonna get strainers, you're gonna get the fittings. It runs on 12 volts of power and it's got a 3.2 gallon per minute flow rate at 55 PSI. So folks, again, 12 volt power.

Easy to wire up with the included wires. And of course, you've got your mounting bracket here on the bottom and you've got your inlet and outlet as far as your pump, and those are all threaded. Your fittings can easily spin on here, whichever side you need to put 'em on. And again, you get that inline filter strainer here, strainer, sorry, not filter included. So this is a thermally protected unit.

It can run dry without having to worry about damage in it. It has a check valve in, it's a one-way operation, so it's gonna prevent any kind of reverse flow. It's a low cycle unit, so it's gonna be nice and quiet. And the built-in check valve is gonna be great for safety and that ignition for protection as well is gonna be great. It uses a three chamber diaphragm pump and an internal bypass that's gonna make it long lasting and top performing as well.

So whether you're putting it in your RV, motor home, boats, this is a great option for you. Let's get some quick dimensions before we finish up together today. I got roughly eight and a half inches long at the end. The end here on the threads, I got about five one quarter inches, and it's roughly four and 15-16 inches tall. Now this has a dry prime rating of six foot, and the housing here is mainly polypropylene with some metal here at the back end as well.

It's pretty light, little less than five pounds, so it's a nice, small, easy to install unit. As always, reach out to us if you have any questions about this or any of the products, and have a great day.
