Hey Chuck, the big difference between the SeaFlo water pumps part # SE57FR and the # SE96FR is that the # SE57FR is designed to run on 12 volt power like from a battery and the part # SE96FR instead runs on AC power and would plug into a wall outlet. Aside from that the specs are pretty similar. What type of electric power do you have available for a water pump?

Hello everybody hope all is well. Purchased a Seaflow water pump # SE57FR a few years ago from Etrailer. Properly priced and you can’t beat the warranty provided let alone great shipping. Pump was purchase for two reasons. 1. Exact replacement and psi requirement for my 2024 Alta 2600KRB. This is a 30 - 50 amps unit that also has dual solar panels on the roof for 12 volt DC service. Therefore this pump can be used as a spare if ever needed. 2. The main reason for purchase was to use it to fill my fresh water tank when away from any city water hookup. I have found that almost all the newer style RV’s required a garden hose connection to fill the fresh water tank. As there is a check valve behind the fill port you need enough psi to open that check valve or your wasting your time. This Seaflow water pump does exactly that. The pump came with matching connectors to add any hose you wish to the inlet and outlet ports. I used 4’ of clear reinforced hose at each end and clamped in place. One end obviously has a male garden hose fitting attached to it and the other hose goes to my water jug or jugs. lol Then added a cigarette lighter connector with a on/off switch to the existing 12 volt, black and red wires for power to the pump. Pump is extremely fast, quiet and maintenance free. Still small and compact and easy to use at anytime. As this is a “spare” pump for me, I do remove it from the unit during winter months. The original installed pump is prepped without a problem for winter storage. Regards Harry T. Toronto, Canada.
