  • Trailer Hitch to Fit 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
Because of the center dual exhaust on the 2008 Grand Cherokee SRT-8, the only trailer hitch we offer is the Curt, part # C11103. This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. For a ball mount I recommend a mount like part # C45018. This is a Class l drawbar and it has a 5/8 inch rise or 1-1/4 inch drop. For a pin and clip you can use part # F-4. If you need a 2 inch hitch ball I recommend part # C40018 and for 1-7/8 I recommend part # C40001. For trailer wiring...

  • Class I to Class III Trailer Hitch Adapter for Bike Rack and Towing on 2018 Subaru Outback
There are two adapters we carry that will fit a Class I hitch and expand to a 2 inch hitch receiver, but they will reduce the tongue weight of your hitch by 50%. Most Class 1 trailer hitches have a max tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs, so reducing that to 100 lbs and then adding the weight of your rack and bikes you would need to be under 100 lbs. This may work fine for a 2 bike rack with normal bikes, but you wouldn't use the adapter for towing the U-Haul 4x8 trailer. The adapters...

  • Ball Mount Option for 1-1/4 inch Hitch that Needs 2 inch Drop
Hey Dukane, the closest ball mount we have to what you mentioned wanting is the Curt part # C45018 which can do a drop of 1-1/4 inches. Unfortunately there isn't every single drop dimension available so best option is to go with one that is as close as possible that's maybe a little higher so that once there's some weight on the hitch it will sit level which the option I mentioned would do well.

  • What Hitch Pin and Hitch Ball for Use with the Curt 1-1/4-Inch Class I Ball Mount, Part # C45018
The Curt Class I Ball Mount, part # C45018, is made for use with 1-1/4-inch hitch receivers and is rated for up to 200-lbs tongue weight (TW) and a gross towing weight (GTW) of 2000 lbs. This ball mount does not include a hitch ball or a hitch pin/clip. You can use hitch pin and clip # F-4. For a hitch ball you can use a medium-shank type, either Curt # A-80 if you need a 1-7/8 diameter ball, or # A-82 if your trailer requires a 2-inch ball.

  • What Ball Mount Is Needed For The VW Factory Hitch On A 2010 VW Tiguan
I do have another flat ball mount for the 1-1/4 inch hitch on a 2010 VW Tiguan. It is the Draw-Tite Class II Ball Mount, # 36051. I went to the warehouse and measured the distance from the weld to the center of the hitch pin hole and it measured 2-3/4 inches. You will want to measure the ball mount you have and see if this ball mount will work on your VW factory hitch. If the Draw-Tite ball mount will not work, then the VW factory ball mount might be the only ball mount to fit the VW...

  • Availability of Ball Mount for a 2011 Nissan Rogue with a Factory Installed Towing Package
The factory towing package on a 2011 Nissan Rogue uses a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch. A Class I hitch will need to use the recommended ball mount for that particular hitch. All Class I trailer hitches are tested and rated with the specific ball mount for that hitch. Using a ball mount that is not recommended by the manufacturer will void the warranty. The recommended ball mount will have the correct rise or drop that is needed for towing with your factory hitch. If you know the rise or...
