If you tow more than one trailer, getting the height just right can be a pain. The Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit makes it simple with a height range that adjusts in 1" steps up to a 5-1/2" drop or 6-1/2" rise. That means you can dial in the perfect match for each coupler and keep every trailer level and steady on the road.
When you’re moving heavy campers, boats, or loaded equipment trailers, strength is everything. This mount is rated for 8,000 lbs when using the 2" ball and 10,000 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball. Two trailers with different coupler sizes? Just flip the platform. One side has a 2" ball and the other a 2-5/16". The internal pin holds them securely in place, and swapping them out takes only seconds. Additional greaseless balls like the 1-7/8" option can also be used on the same platform if you want even more flexibility.
Rain or road salt won’t eat away at this setup. The aluminum shank and ball housing won’t rust or corrode, keeping their clean silver look over time. You can leave it on your truck full-time without worrying about it seizing up or looking rough after a few seasons of towing.

Hitch is excellent quality and fit. Very easy adjustment. Only suggestion I have is that it should have a longer shaft. The step on my truck doesn’t come down all the way before it hits the mudflats. The one complaint I have is in order to get a lock for the pin that holds the ball on you also have to get their hitch lock pin. Only sold as a set. If Andersen is going to do that they should include a coupler lock so all 3 would be keyed the same.
Slips in the trailer like butter. Quite. Heavy duty and well made. Purchase the Rapid Hitch lock set. Standard locks wont work. Like buying from Etrailer. Fast delivery and great support.

Hitch works great, no problems installing and like the adjustability of the system. Down side is that they have legs and will walk away if you don’t lock both the receiver and the riser so you have to buy two hitch locks.
Picked up an aluminum burr in my finger when unpacking the unit. There are some unfinished type of circles that are quite sharp and need to be filed smooth. Other than that, the unit looks great and I'm anxious to put it to use.

The hitch pin did not push through when I flipped the ball mount over into the receiver. I contacted the manufacturer twice and after two more replacements, the ball mount worked as advertised. The hitched looked great during the summer, but the winter road salt and sand took its toll, But at least its not all rusted and overall Im satisfied with the product.
The retaining pin would not fit in the hole to secure the ball mount assembly. I have ordered the locking pins to replace the unit supplied. If it doesn't work I'm returning. So far very poor workmanship

I thought it would be a better hitch for the money. It does not fit tight in the hitch receiver so it is a bit sloppy. The height adjustment and having a 2” and 2 5/16” ball is nice and convenient.

I recommend using an anti rattle device like part # C27UR to help reduce movement in the hitch receiver.
Brought this for my HD pickup truck to tow my 18 foot enclosed cargo trailer. It's good looking, functional, no future rust, and works great. I'm still out on the greaseless aspect of the hitch balls, but so far, so good.

I have had it a year and it works perfectly. Love it and it will not rust like my last one did. The greaseless ball cap works great so far. I would recommend.

Highly recommend this beast of a hitch. I have used it for many different size trailers and the ease of adjustment and changing out ball sizes is fantastic. Do not hesitate if you are in the market. I loved this hitch so much that I bought their ultimate 5th wheel hitch when I bought my toy hauler.

I bought this hitch to pull my horse trailer. The shipping was extremely fast and it looks great. I haven’t used it yet but I will be in a couple day to haul my mule to the vet. I expect this to perform as good as it looks!

I ordered my AM3405 and was amazed how quickly the etrailer team responded with not only my order confirmation but the fantastic follow up when it was shipped and delivered. I highly recommend etrailer and will order from them again.
The product showed up in great shape and I am very happy with the quality. One recommendation would be to order two of the locking pins. One for the receiver and one to lock the ball mount to the unit. You will see by my picture I resolved that issue with a pad lock but the locking pin would have been better.

The Teflon black caps on the ball are awesome when hitching up, there is no problem with the receiver sliding onto the ball when miss aligned. I have recommended this hitch to many of my friends and customers, they too are pleased with the hitch.

Still going strong with over 38,000 miles towing a 20 aluminum tandem axle trailer loaded about 60 of those miles. Expected to see some significant wear by now but to my surprise there is every little that I can see. Excellent product which I have recommended to many friends and others. Teflon ball cap is a very nice feature.
