What Is Overall Height Of Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit # AM3405
Updated 08/12/2015 | Published 08/11/2015 >
Question:
What is the overall height for the hitch? My receiver is just under 20inch to the top, so I think I would like the 6inch version for the additional range. However, I dont want it to be scraping on the ground.

I went to the warehouse and measured the Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit, part # AM3405.
Depending on the orientation of the mount in the receiver on your truck the overall distance from the bottom of the ball mount with the ball in the furthest position is 3-1/2 to 9-1/2 inches.
The overall height of the ball mount with the balls in the furthest rise or drop is 12 inches.
