Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 2-1/2 Inch Receiver Tube

Question:

I am looking at your 3400 or 3405 hitch and I have 2 questions. the first is I have a 2017 chev 2500 with the larger approx. 2 1/2 receiver do you have anything for that and also what is the use difference for the different ball material thanks

We have a number of adjustable ball mounts that will fit the 2-1/2" receiver tube opening on your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 which I have attached for you. However, the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit part # AM3400 or part # AM3405 are designed to fit a 2" receiver tube opening therefore will not work for you. The difference between them is that part # AM3405 has a nylon cap which will not require lubrication. They both have zinc plated hitch balls.

Instead, I recommend taking a look at the Flash E Series HD Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # FA42-00-2625. This ball mount is constructed completely of solid aluminum which makes it very durable and lightweight weighing in at only 22 lbs. It comes with a 2-5/16" and 2" hitch ball with a 6" drop and 6" rise. The ball mount is made right here in the U.S.A. and you can add locks using part # FA86-00-3685.
