Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Rear View Safety universal mirror monitor. This is a feature-rich monitor that gives you a 7 inch TFT LCD color screen that's going to provide a perfect 16 by 9 ratio for viewing your cameras without taking even an inch of dash room. It also has optional grid lines, a built-in speaker, as you can see right here, and also 3 channel camera capabilities. I do wanna point out that this monitor does not have reflective glass to be used as a rear view mirror, so it does have a full 7 inch display. Now, to control the monitor functions, you can use these sleek touch screen controls here or the included remote, as you can see right here.
And I wanted to point out that this also includes this 3 port power harness. And just to give you a view of the connections on this harness. And so this is included with this system. And I'm gonna pull out my ruler here and go over some measurements that will prove helpful for you so you have a good idea of the size and how much space it's gonna take up over your windshield. So, looking at the overall width, as you can see, we're sitting real close to 9 inches wide.
The overall height at the tallest point, we're sitting right at about 4 and a 1/2 inches tall. And then the overall thickness might be a little more difficult to show, but I'm just measuring from the thickest point on this monitor. So, we're sitting right at about 2 and 5/8 inches thick altogether. Instructions are included. (tongue clicking) And another note that I wanted to make just so you are aware, if you are replacing an older system that includes a multiplexer, you must replace the monitor cable and multiplexer with the power harness that is included with this monitor.
