These carpet protectors are simple to install. While your slide-out room is extended, place each protector on the areas of the carpet in the main room where there is the most potential for damage. These areas are usually where the slide out rests directly on the carpet when it's retracted.
Insert the straight edge of each protector into the threshold, or floor joint, between the slide-out room and the main room. Press down on each protector to ensure a good grip on the carpet.
Pointed nibs on the bottom of the protectors firmly grip the carpet to help keep the protectors from sliding or shifting.

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look to dig at these Lippert Carpet Protectors for your RVs with slide-outs. That's right, folks. So a lot of times, whenever you're sliding out the carpet and stuff, you can potentially get rips, tears, snags, that kind of stuff. Even dirt, water, that kind of stuff.
Mold and mildew. Well, we got an answer for you. These carpet protectors are gonna shield your RV's carpeting from damage that can occur when operating that slide-out. So as you can see, they're very flexible. It's a durable plastic that can easily be wiped down or clean very easily.
It's a neutral gray color, so it's gonna look decent on all color carpets that are out there. They are 40 inches long and five inches wide. Now to install them, it's pretty simple. You've got these raised nibs, as I'm calling them. I'm gonna try to zoom in a little bit there for you.
They are really pointy and they are kind of sharp, if you will. You've got these tube padded length here as well, and it's written on the molding in the plastic itself, threshold, and it has an arrow to point so you know which way to install. And you got that nice lip there on the end as well. So again, very simple to install. Just place the protectors on the carpet, press down firmly in place.

These are good in theory but seem to slide and move while putting in the slide.
I don't really think it is worth the hassle to try to get them in place. Might be easier with 3 people but that is not the case for me.
The carpet protectors for our RV are exactly what we needed. Plus they arrived sooner than expected. Thank you for sending the perfect product we needed.

Excellent! We are very happy with our carpet protectors for the bedroom carpet. They are exactly what we needed.
My slideout was dragging on the carpet inside and starting to leave a mark. I purchased the sliders and not only did it stop the marks. But the trailer now slides in easier and less strain on the motor. Great product! Great company to deal with. Thank You.
Was having problem with slide roller in kitchen putting indents in floor. This product is sturdy and looks like it will solve problem. George was very good at emailing me and keeping me up to date with shipment and order. Will buy from etrailer again and refer them to friends!
The product is difficult to use because you need 2 people. They won't stay in place without being held. We are using them on carpet, the nibs haven't broken off either. When the slides come in it just pushes the glider out so we have to hold them and make sure the end of the glider stays in place.
I just received the product. It looks like high quality material. We are using this product to protect the floor when using the slideout. It was recommended by an RV tech.
The items were delivered on time and in good condition. I ordered these to replace a pair that were used in a motor home I just purchased. They work great.

Moves while traveling
I am using them on a wood look vinyl plank and they work good.
This product is working great and is doing exactly what I wanted it for. The follow up after it was ordered was amazing, and I will differently be using this company again.

Looks as if these will protect the carpet, they fit great, but have not had the slide in while traveling yet to get the real results.

These just fold up or slide out of place when I try to use them so ultimitely they never get used.
