Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the replacement snaps for the Extang snap-on tonneau covers. Now, these will replace the snaps for the Extang snap-on tonneau covers. That's an exploded view of what you're going to get in the package. And basically, that's what they look like when they're in the top of the cover itself.

Now, to attach these, you're going to need a tool sold separately. Here's what they look like in the pack when you get them. And you're going to need a tool sold separately. And what that is, is it's going to install these into that cover. It's a special tools you're going to need that's sold separately.

And if you don't have them and you need replacement ones, you're also going to potentially need new bottom offset snap studs sold separately. And that's item number EX2128 or EX7218. And those are sold separately as well. So that's going to wrap it up, folks, for our quick look together at these replacement snaps for the Extang snap-on tonneau covers. I'm Steven.

Got these to replace broken snaps. Got replacement snaps at the Tandy store last year. Stud was too long, but workable. Tandy fasteners weren’t intended for outdoor use. These snaps worked much better and probably won’t get rusty.

Theses tonneau snaps were reasonably priced and came well packaged. They are exact replacements for my EXTANG Tonneau Cover on my Chevy Silverado. I used the EX2016 snap replacement tool to install them and it was easy. It only took a few minutes to install and they look as good as the original snaps.

Product is awesome, my only complaint is the method of replace the bad ones is not all that easy. wish there was a tool that had the parts for crimping them were attached to a pair of pliers. Kept dropping the snap parts or the crimping adaptors.

Easy to install with installation tool. They fit my sportmaster cover and except for the lettering on the originals and some fading you cannot tell the difference. I wish that I would have known about these sooner.

Replacement Cover Only for Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for 2003 Toyota Tacoma 6 Foot Bed
It sounds like the Extang BlackMax Tonneau cover you have is the one for the 5 foot bed 2003 Toyota Tacoma and yours is a 6 foot bed. The cover only for the 6 foot bed models is # EX1870. If you also need new snaps they are # EX7028 and the installation tool is # EX2016 which is required to install the snaps.
