When the snow piles up or ice coats the road, these grooved square links make all the difference. The ladder pattern gives steady forward traction, while the grooves dig in better than standard square or round links. That extra bite helps you power up steep grades and get through deep snow or icy patches without slipping.
These chains aren’t just about traction—they’re built tough. The nickel manganese alloy steel stands up to long, cold seasons and resists corrosion. Each link is case hardened, so the outer layer takes the abuse from ice and gravel while the core stays strong. That means you can count on dependable performance year after year.
No one wants to fight with loose chains in a snowstorm. The built-in cams let you twist and tighten the side chains quickly so everything stays snug around the tire. Just turn the cams with the included tool until they’re taut. For an even tighter fit, add optional rubber adjusters.

Every link on these chains can work on either side, so when one side starts to show wear, you can flip them over and keep going. It’s a smart design that saves money and helps the chains last through multiple winters.
Each set includes two chains made for tires from 20" up to 24-1/2". They’re ideal for those times when you need serious traction to get through snow, ice, or mud. When the weather turns rough, this setup keeps you moving forward instead of stuck.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the pewag All Square 5.6 millimeter Snow Tire Chains. These are gonna be a ladder pattern style chain, so they're gonna be a little more rough of a ride than the diagonal or diamond pattern chains, but that's not a huge deal, these aren't gonna be the roughest ride of all of them though, there are some all square snow tire chains that are a little bit bigger, these are 5.6 millimeters linked thick, so these are relatively larger, but not as big as they can go, so they're gonna get you a decent amount of traction, and these are gonna be less traction than some of the V-bar style chains. These do have a little bit stronger steel material, it's manganese nickel alloy, some of them are low carbon steel, so these are definitely winning when it comes to how hard and how strong they are, so they should last a long time. And one thing I like about it is just the cam tensioners, they really do help get a really nice fit on the chain, so that is something to kinda think about, just because as treads start to kinda go down, sometimes the diameter of your tire changes ever so slightly, so with the cam tensioners, you can be confident that they're as tight as they can be, so they're not gonna fall off or anything and damage the vehicle. These won't damage your wheels, so notice how we have a very large amount of gap between the chain and our rims, so even if we we're in very, very thick, heavy snow where it's pushing in on the side walls, it's not gonna go and scratch our wheels, that's something I look at, just because these are nice and I wanna keep them nice, so you don't have to worry about that with these. If you wanna put these on just the back wheels of whatever vehicle you may have, you can do that, it does come in a pack of two, but if you do wanna put it on the front wheel as well, you're gonna have to grab two of these.
So they have a pretty big bag and it's not a canvas bag, so it is not gonna rip near as easily, so that's a good thing. There's plenty of room in the bag too to get all the chains in there, so you don't have to worry about just kinda having to stuff stuff in. A lot of times, when you get products, sometimes, they don't get packaged up as nice and neatly as they did before, but with these, they have plenty of room in this bag. But once it's all in there, it's about this size, it'll fit underneath your backseat or in your toolbox, whatever you have going on on your vehicle. But when it comes to these, I think they're gonna be a pretty good option for you.
And that's pretty much it for a look at the pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with cam tensioners..

I double checked the Pewag fit guide and your tire size calls for this chain. We will be in touch to request photos of the backwards links and follow up with you about getting you properly fitting chains.
