Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Replacement Rear Roller for Model 6, 10, and 20 Actuators

Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen, here at etrailer.com, and we're taking a quick look at the replacement rear roller for your brake actuator from Titan. This is going to be a direct replacement part for your brake actuator, so you can rest assure that it should work with the model numbers it's provided for. This is going to be one of those rollers your actuator slides along to make sure everything is moving nice and smoothly. You may need more than one; there should be at least two, if not up to six, depending on the model you have in your brake actuator, so again, you might need more than one of these guys to fix the problem you're having. As we can see, it's going to be this nice, heavy-duty roller. Again, this works for your Titan model 6, 10, or 20 surge brake actuator. I'll give you some measurements, just for reference.

Outer diameter is 2", inner diameter is right about 7/8" of an inch. It's about 1" thick, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the replacement rear roller for your model 6, 10, or 20 brake actuators from Titan. Thanks for watching.

  • Roller Orientation for Reassembly of Titan Model 10
Yes there are only two rollers on the damper. The chamfered edge on the # DX46FR should be facing out. The assembly instructions suggest using dummy pins out of 3/4" diameter dowels and state, "Insert one of the wooden dowels into the edge of the top slot of the inner. Then slide the dowel through a rear roller with the chamfered edge out, then through the end of the damper, and finally through another rear roller with the chamfered edge out.
