Move your vehicle's oil filter to a more convenient location for quicker and easier filter changes. Great for engine swaps!I had to remove it as it started leaking badly.
This review is for product quality only as I have not installed the oil filter relocation kits yet and will not or another month or so.
The mount and accessories arrived quicker than anticipated, yay, they (I bought two) were well packaged and without damage. The material they are made of appears to be high quality and all machine work is top notch!
I am looking forward to much easier and cleaner oil changes, these will be a great addition to the boat!
I will be installing this filter system on a Beta Marine 25 Marine diesel engine. Hmm, fuel filters are always installed horizontally on marine engines. You can change a fuel filter without spilling a drop into the bilge. Why is the oil filter installed vertically? I am looking foreward to not having to balance a catch basin or, clean spilled oil from my bilge.
After opening the package, and inspection of parts. I was very impressed with the quality of material and workmanship. I think it's great value for the price.

It could be from a couple of different situations. If you used a liquid sealant of any type on the threads, it could actually cause leaks. Liquid sealant of any type on the threads can act as a lubricant when first applied and could actually allow you to over tighten the fittings. One thing that you could use is a thread tape and tighten to approximately 8 to 10 ft lbs.
