Unfortunately I was unable to use this relocation kit due to a manufacturer change-the original product picture when I ordered showed metal threaded barbs for the hose attachment but what I recieved was plastic, no way I would trust plastic to hold up in such a harsh environment. If these were to fail my engine would be vacated of oil. Very dissatisfied.
Install was easy once you locate a suitable area that will not interfere with oil filter servicing and other moving parts. Tossed the ridiculous 90 degree filter adapter on 1993 K2500. Needed to get creative with the fittings... added a few pipe nipples at different lengths to gain clearance, used rubber isolated clamps to hold hose in place. the one review that mentions the fittings as plastic.. although it feels like it I scraped away some of the black finish only to find they are aluminum, feels like plastic but mine were aluminum. We will see if the O rings hold up over time to stop the leaks. so far so good
Worst purchase ever put all seals everything in brand new does nothing but leak junk waste of my money
