Hook up simply and securely thanks to the automatically latching jaw on the Super 5th ISRX. Tested to the highest standards and made in the USA. Super-sleek base attaches to industry-standard 5th-wheel rails in your truck bed.
Your truck doesn't have to be dedicated just to hauling your 5th-wheel trailer and nothing else. This hitch is so lightweight, it's no big deal to take it out for a weekend when you want to use your truck bed for a project. The head comes off the base, and the base itself removes in a few steps. With the head removed, the base weighs just 94 lbs.
As soon as the king pin is in the right spot, the jaws on this 5th-wheel hitch lock automatically. The jaw is designed as a single piece that wraps around the king pin in a 360-degree grip that is more secure than the traditional slide-bar jaw. More secure also means less noise! The jaw holds the king pin tightly so it doesn't rattle so much.
Getting your truck into just the right place is a tricky business. You need a hitch that will meet you in the middle. The head is able to pivot front-to-back and side-to-side so it can help you find the king pin. This also improves your ride, since it is able to move with the bumps and turns of the road instead of chucking.

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer, and today I'm with Nick, the hitch guy from PullRite and today we're taking a look at your rail kit for a lot of different trucks out there. And rail kits are great for someone that wants to add a 5th wheel into their truck, uses factory spots and normally they're not too bad to get installed or so you think until it's time to torque down hardware. And you guys have solved the problem. So what do you guys offer and what makes it different Yeah, so all of our rail kits, we're still using preexisting holes so we're not drilling into the frame of the truck, but where our products or these rail kits really shine would be when you're going to torque everything down. The hardest part of torquing a rail system down is torquing the rail to the bed of the truck because that torquing needs to happen underneath the truck bed in an area that's really small and restrictive to get your tools, a lot of times you end up having to use a crow's foot. So what we've added are these nut tabs onto the bracket and we ship these with serrated flange nuts.
So that bracket gets bent down a little bit, then you drop the nut into place, then you just squeeze that bracket back and now you have the nut in position on the bracket. So when you go to install this on the truck's frame like that, this is sitting between the bed and the frame of the truck. So instead of using a carriage bolt on the top, we're going to supply hex bolts that you just run through the base rail, tighten it up, so now you have full access to all the hardware to easily torque it into the bed. And that may seem, you may be looking at that and go, "Okay, well that can't be that special," but as someone that's installed a ton of these, the hardest part is, you know, you get everything bolted up and you just hand tighten and then when it's time to torque, you're underneath the truck with a torque wrench trying to get to spots that really aren't accessible sometimes with a tall socket. So using a crow's foot seems like a great idea, but when it's a high torque, those spread.
I've busted my knuckles plenty of times and it does sometimes become a two-person job with someone up top, you know, making sure that hardware's in place and it's still just a pain to really get that torqued down. So installation, you guys have really cut this down by a lot and a lot of the headache from the installation is solved by this, so awesome design. Anything else that makes this stand out from other rails Yeah, it's all included. So you're going to get one box that has all of your hardware, your base rails, your frame brackets, a product that you're just worried about, one box showing up at your doorstep. So all of that stuff's going to be right inside of it.
That's awesome. So again, this tab, this is them forward thinking, this is solving problems. As an installer, there's a lot of times I find that manufacturers do things and I go, "Someone wasn't thinking, you know, someone didn't really think about the person doing the install." And that's our goal here is to always try to make the installations easier by our videos. But seeing something like this, this makes me very happy and if you're installing a rail kit on your truck at home, it's gonna do the same for you. So definitely a cool option if you're putting rails into your truck.
I'd highly, highly recommend taking a look at the PullRite options simply because of that ease of installation, takes all the negative parts of putting a base rail kit in and fixes that. So a rail kit will allow you to put rails in the bed. And are you limited as to what 5th wheels you can put in it No, the rail systems, they're industry standard rails. So all of the hitches that are, whether they're the PullRite brand or another brand, they're interchangeable between those two rail systems. The other thing that makes our rails unique is that we test everything to the SAE J2638 testing standard. So there is a weight capacity associated with these base rails and frame brackets. We're one of the few manufacturers that do that. That's awesome, and that's peace of mind, you know, when you're hauling heavy equipment, that's probably, you know, a big investment. You wanna make sure that, you know, you're not worried about that it's gonna hold up long term. Yes for sure. Well, thank you. Huge thanks to Nick from PullRite from taking the time to show us the 5th wheel rail kit that they have available for your vehicle. And it's important when getting a rail kit, as he mentioned, it bolts up to a lot of the factory spots already in the frame so you don't have to drill but you wanna make sure that you have the proper fit. So using our fit guide, putting your vehicle information is gonna help you make sure that you get the right kit for your truck and you'll be able to drop your 5th wheel in and hit the road in no time. So thank you again, Nick, appreciate it. My pleasure, Brad.
