Can Head of PullRite ISRX Super 5th-Wheel Hitch Be Removed For Installation

Can the head be removed so that installation is easier? Makes the hitch lighter when putting in and out of truck. Also, this is for a 2024 Dodge Ram 3500. I might need rails, not sure. thanks

Hey Mark! Yes, the head of the PullRite ISRX Super 5th-Wheel Hitch # PUL22RR can be removed. With it removed the base only weighs 94 lbs which will make it quite a bit easier to manage. For rails that fit your 2024 Ram 3500 you need the PullRite Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # PUL47RR.
