Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CIPA eight inch long rearview mirror with the day/night switch. Now this eight inch long CIPA replacement rearview mirror will replace a damaged original equipment rearview mirror and it'll install easily and fit most vehicles. The bracket here will fit most OEM mounting brackets, both cam lock and wedge styles by just sliding on to the OEM mounting bracket and then tightening the screw down to hold it into place. Now if it does not fit the OEM bracket, they do include this mounting piece that can be cemented to your windshield.
And then once it's cemented to the windshield, this can be slid on and then tightened down with that screw to hold it into place. Now this does switch from day to night setting for more comfortable driving. You can see the manual switch right down here at the bottom and this can adjust to your driver's height. You just use your hand to adjust it to what height you need. Again, the dimensions on this, overall length from one end to the other is gonna be right at eight inches.
The height at the tallest point, widest point, it's gonna be two and a half inches tall, and this mirror is Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard approved. But that should do it for the review on the CIPA eight inch long rearview mirror with the day/night switch..
