Hey Jim, congratulations on the new truck! The PullRite SuperGlide 4100 was originally designed to fit proprietary rails. If you don't already have it, you will need to add the PullRite Adapter Kit for Mounting Traditional SuperGlide Hitches to ISR or Gooseneck Rail Systems # PUL98VR.

This kit will allow you to mount your 4100 on industry standard rails. Then you can mount the 5th wheel in the OE system using the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C29BR. Unfortunately, there are no adapters available that will allow you to mount directly in the puck system.

Alternatively, you could sell the old hitch and upgrade to the PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Factory Prep Package # PUL28RR. This will mount directly without the need for the additional adapters. The cost is higher, but you're already going to invest quite a bit with the adapters so it is worth considering.

What kind of 5th wheel are you towing and where are you headed next?

I bought the PullRite SuperGlide PUL28RR 24K, and use it with Ram 2500 short bed pulling a 5th wheel Alliance. The hitch uses the Ram puck system and the slider is amazing, I can make 90 plus degree turns and never worry about hitting the cab. Money well spent.

@RandyT thanks for sharing your firsthand experience with the # PUL28RR. It's great to hear how well the SuperGlide has worked with your Ram 2500 and that the extra cab clearance has been worth the investment.
