Will a PullRite 2900 SuperGlide from a 2022 GMC Sierra Fit a 2025 RAM 2500 w/ the Puck System?

Question:

I have a 2900 auto slider in my 2022 GMC Sierra with puck system, I am buying a new truck, 2025 RAM 2500 with puck system, is there a mounting bracket i can but to fit the RAM with my current 2900 hitch?

Hey Jim congrats on the new truck! If you have the PullRite 2900 that fits the GM puck system there's no adapter available that will make it work in the Ram puck system. Additionally, the bases are not interchangeable so you would need to purchase the PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Factory Prep Package item # PUL28RR you were looking at.

If your 2900 PullRite SuperGlide our item # PUL63RR fits industry standard rails there is an adapter that will make it fit the Ram factory puck system. It's the Adapter Rails item # C29BR. This adapter will drop right down into your factory pucks and provide a base that has the same dimensions as above bed 5th wheel rails. You would have been using an adapter previously since you said you had the puck system.

How did your PullRite 2900 attach to your Sierra? Some of them have puck bases so if yours doesn't I am sorry for the long winded explanation. You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

@Jim Thanks for the email! There's definitely an adapter on the bottom of your 2900 PullRite SuperGlide our item # PUL63RR. You'll need the Adapter Rails item # C29BR to use your hitch with the puck system in your 2025 RAM 2500.
