Question:
Hello, I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. It has the fifth wheel rails already installed. It doesn’t have the frame brackets that attach to the frame and the rails. How do I know what frame brackets I need? Thank you

Hey Hunter! I am really curious what those 5th wheel rails are attached to that you say are already installed. To answer your question though, the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit item # C16418 is what you'll need for your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. They are custom fit for both the 6-1/2' and 8' bed lengths. These are part of the Curt item # C16418-204, which is the full 5th rail kit.
I have linked an installation video below that will help you get them set up.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C56070. This harness puts a 4-way and 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
