Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for your Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Now this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks with either the six and a half foot bed or the eight foot bed and without the OEM prep package. Now on a custom-fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the Fit Guide, put in your year, model, vehicle.
It'll show if this will work for your application. Now these brackets here are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth-wheel rails to attach to. Now those base rails we do sell separate on our website. Does require the base rails, part number C16104, C16204, or C16205. Those rails will bolt to these mounting brackets.
Now these brackets here will provide a custom fit. They mount to existing holes that are in your vehicle's frame. You can see the holes right here in the sides. These holes will eliminate the need for drilling. Cuts the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits.
Now it does include all the necessary hardware to install this. Comes with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. And these parts have a nice black powder coat finish on to resist corrosion. And these brackets are designed to work with the industry-standard rails that are compatible with B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky above-bed fifth-wheel trailer hitches. Requires less drilling than universal kits and mounts to existing holes in your vehicle's chassis to provide a secure and custom fit.The brackets fit my 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LTZ Duramax diesel as advertised. Relatively easy install and the bolt fishwires were awesome for frame installation...thanks for including them. I recommend a heavier corrugate for shipping as the box was split on both ends as well the hardware pack which I was concerned for missing pieces but a quick inventory revealed no missing parts.
I did need to make a slight modification to the M16 washers so would lay flat against the frame...see picture. All worked out ok and a little rust prevention paint applied to the ground edge of the washer.
I bought these for my 2018 GMC 2500HD DMAX with no bed prep to pull a 2021 GD Solitude 3950BH-R. The brackets and Extension harness I ordered to install my Curt Q25K 5th wheel hitch worked perfectly! My only complaint is it is seemingly impossible to get a proper torque on the bolts that that go through the bed over the frame rails. Shipping was quick and delivered on time. I was super happy to get this done myself and save a couple of grand! Now I need Tembrens or springs. Thank you!

I installed these on my 2011 Chevy Duramax 3500. I had to switch out the bed and was able to re do them under the new bed because I saved the Very Handy wires for getting the bolts into the frame.
I just used these brackets to install my fifth-wheel hitch in my 2013 2500HD Chevy. They worked flawlessly! The only issue I had was my rails from my hitch wouldn't work. Ihad to buy new rails. I would recommend to buy the kit that includes the rails.
The product was double boxed and arrived in about 4 days with normal shipping. The brackets were a perfect fit on my 2015 Silverado 3500HD long box DRW. As others have stated the nuts and washers are very difficult to install on the bed rails. These brackets are heavy duty.

I have towed a 5th wheel numerous times and the brackets have performed as advertised.
I ordered the rails and brackets kit with included hardware for a Curt slider hitch. The order arrived 3 days later in perfect shape and the quality of the parts is 1st rate...heavy. Price was better than other stores. I'm happy.

The mounting brackets work great
Real easy to install and works great for installing a 5th wheel hitch as angle brackets do not work very good.

The survice is excellent. A few weeks before my vacation I placed an order. My order came early. I noticed I had ordered the wrong kit. So I called etrailer. The sales man was very Knowledgeable and understanding. He took it upon himself to make sure my new order went out right away so I could get it with enough time to install it before I needed it.

I’m very happy with product. it was missing a couple lock washers but I’m happy non the less.
p/u 5th whl hitch priced right and shipped quick . put in on and works great .just like advertised with no problems . i would recomend to anybody that needs a hitch of any kind to buy here for great product and prices.
Everything fit perfect just some Missing hardware unfortunately.
Got the shipment on the right day. Was completely demolished. UPS,hung around to insure all the pieces were there.
Installation went good. Bolted directly to frame drilled holed in bed and bolted down the rails.

I purchased the same system 5 years ago. Very easy to install. I plan to powder coat these brackets to extend the life of the coating while bolted against the frame. Excellent product
They brackets fit and installation was easy. Only problem was package arrived busted and taped up some of the hardware was missing.

They have worked fine with one exception. I have a Husky manual slider hitch and the holes in your rails seem slightly oversized, causing some play when towing. It hasnt caused any issues other than an annoying cluncking.
