Transmission Fluid Temperature Gauge and Cooler Recommendation for a 2013 Dodge Caravan
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I am planning to install a transmission oil temperature gauge on a dodge caravan. Will it be on the transmission line or better on the transmission oil pan. What derale kit do I need. I think the dodge caravan transmission is Chryslers 62TE model.

For a temperature gauge you could use to monitor the temperature of the transmission fluid in your 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan I would recommend the # D13009 for a mechanical gauge. This will require you to drill into the transmission pan to install the fitting and sending unit. I attached a picture that shows how it installs on a transmission fluid pan.
For a transmission cooler to help reduce the temperature of the tranny fluid you could use the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13611. I attached an install video plus an FAQ on tranny coolers for you to check out as well.
