Is The Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit Available Aftermarket?

Question:

Are you selling the Furrion Cube AC yet?

Hello Doug, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Chill Cube AC is not available quite yet. When we last heard from Furrion, they were expecting them to be available for the aftermarket by the end of 2024. We were told that the Chill Cube units were OEM only and they are still working on producing enough stock to go aftermarket.

I don't suppose you have heard any updates from Furrion?

@NickP So they are not available quite yet, but we do have them on the site for pre order. The link below will show you the Chill Cube units we offer. Right now they are expected to be available to ship by the end of January.

@JesseM I heard in the video that there will be a 15,000 BTU Furrion Chill Cube, do you have any information on when that might be coming out?

@RobP Yes there is going to be a 15,000 BTU Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit. The part numbers are FACT18VSDA-PS and FACR15HEDA-BL. They are expected to be available for the aftermarket by the end of January. Right now we only have the 18,000 BTU units available for pre-order. We will be carrying the 15,000 BTU units as well, but you probably will not be able to order one until sometime in February.

Will the 18k also have a heat strip option in it?

@Sarah I checked with my contact at Furrion and I was told the new 18K BTU Furrion Chill Cube AC Units will not have a heat strip option.

Just following up on this... the 15k unit may be available for order in February still? It will have the gear mode too, correct? Have they said if a 12k or 9k or 8k unit is coming? 15k is overkill for my unit, but I could just run it at 75% or 50% most of the time? Does the shroud have both a moving blade/fin for cool air distribution and an option to open a slider and vent straight down? Lastly, no heat strip option, correct? Thanks, looking forward to ordering one.

@Steven Yes we are still hoping for them to be available to ship February 2025 if all goes well. I am not aware of any 12K or 8K BTU units coming out. You are correct that it will have more cooling power so you would have to run it less. The distribution box does have a fin for moving air straight down if desired. There is no heat strip option for these units. Let me know if you need anything else.

Just following up, as it is end of February... how is it looking for sales on the chill cube 15kBTU model? Does it look like it will be for availability for purchase to March now? or has it been pushed even further back than the original, anticipated February? Thanks.

@Steven We do have the 18K BTU Chill Cube units available now such as part # LC94DX, but not the 15K units. We have had no updates from Furrion as far as availability. It looks like they are only shipping the 18K BTU for now so it will likely still be a few months on the 15K.
