Looking For Replacement Brakes And Hubs For An Al-Ko 7210 Axle
Question:
I have a trailer with brakes on only one axle. It is a tandem with AL-KO 7210 axles would the AKEBRK-7-SA brake assemblies work on those axles? Also would the AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K Hub/Drum work?

Hello Kevin. The # AKEBRK-7-SA brake assemblies will indeed work on your AL-KO 7210 axles. These axles use the standard 12" x 2" brake shoes and they bolt on to the standard 5 bolt brake flange. If you need new mounting hardware it will be part # BRKH12.
As far as the hub/drum, the # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K will likely be exactly what you will need. The 7K axles generally use standard sizing as well. I do suggest that you remove one of your hubs and unpack the bearings to confirm the sizing though, just because I am not exactly sure how old your axles are. The # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K hub uses a # 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) inner bearing and a # 14125A (1.25" inner diameter) outer bearing. Just confirm that your hub uses these same bearings and you will be good to go.
