Question:
Ive contacted Grand Design but Im not getting answers. My 2020 Solitude 380fl slide actuator for slide with fridge/oven/pantry is leaking and want to replace the actuator. I see three and they all seem to have different lengths. Would you be able to tell me which part length I need or tell me how to measure to determine length? This is the title on the parts you have...Replacement Hydraulic Actuator for Through-Frame RV Slide-Outs. Thanks!

Hey Glen thanks for reaching out! I did some research and I wasn't able to find anything either, strangely enough. Did you happen to know who makes your slide out? For example, if you had a LCI electric through-frame slide out, and it measured 24" long, then you could use the Lippert Replacement RV Slide-Out Venture Actuator with 18:1 Motor # LC119128.
The replacement slide out parts listed on Grand Design's website didn't say what kind of slide out you had. If there is any more info that you can get ahold of, please let me know and I'd be happy to help! Also, if you think of anything else in the meantime, please also let me know below!

There is no motor on the actuator. I have no idea how to determine who made the slide-out though my guess would be Lippert. It is purely hydraulic. I'm going to measure the actuator, using these notes from Shane H at etrailer. ..you would to measure the distance between your hydraulic fitting ports. You can also measure the actuator while it is retracted. You would need to measure from thicker end of the tube to opposite end of the thicker tube where the smaller cylinder slides into it. This video from Lippert is what my actuator is like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZ-gG2tiWO8 Thanks.
