Question:

Can I buy just the shank replacement. I need to change from the 3 inch shank with tow and stow to a 2.5 shank. I believe the double ball mount will work on a new shank. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

No, you can't. I contacted B&W this morning and was told they do not sell the components of their tow and stow ball mounts separately. While you are most likely correct and they are probably interchangeable, B&W wants you to buy a new one.

It sounds like you have either item # BWTS30037B or item # BWTS30040B. The comparable 2-1/2" Tow and Stow two ball ball mounts are listed below:
