Question:
I have an older Hudson utility trailer with 9-44 stamped on dexter drum. Will your Akebrk-12 or AkEBRK -10 brake assembly fit? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
Your Dexter Trailer Brake Drum # 9-44-1 is designed to fit the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-288-3UC1. This drum and hub installs on 9,000-lb to 10,000-lb general-duty Dexter axles made prior to July 2009. The Brake Assembly Set part # AKEBRK-10 would work great with this setup.
