Where is 7-Way Trailer Wiring Connector on 2004 Ford F150
Published 02/23/2022 >
Question:
I have a 2004 Ford F150 with an existing 4 pin connector and need to add a 7 pin connection for a trailer with brakes. I purchased this 18247.wiring harness, but when I got under the vehicle to install it, the existing connector is not a rounded square, but instead a long rectangle with a blade see pictures. Does the right part exist to take this connection and add a 7 pin?

We had the chance to install the Tekonsha 7-way kit part # 118247 on a 2004 Ford F-150 and we did find the correct connector. It's possible maybe you are trying to use the wrong connector. Try checking out the attached install video link to verify.
