Roof-Mounted Cargo Box Compatible With Yakima Jetstream Cross Bars

Hi there, Im wondering if you can recommend which cargo boxes would work for both a 2016 Honda HR-V Yakima Baseline system with JetStream bars and a 2018 Mazda 3 5-door Yakima SkyLine system with JetStream bars. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

For a cargo box I recommend using the Yakima SkyBox 21 Rooftop Cargo Box - 21 cu ft - Black Carbonite # Y07337. This will easily clamp onto your Yakima Jetstream Crossbars. This fits a crossbar spread of 24"-42". Both your 2018 Mazda 3 and 2016 Honda HR-V have a crossbar spread of about 32" according to Yakima, which tells me it will work well for you. You will, however want to verify fitment by measuring from the center of one crossbar to the center of the other crossbar on your vehicles; as long as your measurement is between 24" and 42" then you won't have an issue. This box weighs 62lbs.
If you were actually wanting a roof rack cargo basket then I would go with Yakima Load Warrior Roof Rack Cargo Carrier - Steel # Y07070. This fits crossbar spread of 24"-32" and has dimensions of 44" long, 39" wide, and 6-1/2" tall. It is light weight at only 25lbs and can hold up to 140lbs (do not exceed your roof or roof rack's weight capacity). I have attached demonstration videos for these cargo boxes.
