Best Kayak Carrier To Use With My 2014 SylvanSport Go Utility/Tent Trailer
Question:
I have a 2014 SylvanSport Go that is a combination utility/tent trailer with two 3inch bars for a bike or kayak carrier. Will this work for my trailer? I also have a Hullavator for my 2019 Subaru Forester and Im not sure if I could somehow use it for this trailer also??? Trying to figure out the best way to haul the kayak? Thank you.

I have a bunch of ways for you to get your Kayak up on top of your 2014 SylvanSport Go Trailer, but the Thule Hullavator isn't going to be an option because you will need to have 4 to 8 inches of bar overhang. Which, from what I can see there is no overhang on the existing bars you have. The best route to go in your situation would be getting a foam pad to wrap around your crossbars.
I like the Malone Foam Block Cargo Carrier # MPG154 which are 12 inches long. Theses will fit any kayak you throw at it all while protecting the bottom of your Kayak from any scratches. It comes with all the tie downs you need to get everything secured properly. The Yakima Kayak Carrier # Y04083-04082 would also work but you need to measure from the center of your front crossbar to the center of your back crossbar and make sure the spread is no less than 24 inches.
