Will Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit Help With Up and Down Movement Of Trailer

I have a Grand Design 2600rb and a 1/2 Chevy. Ive been getting a good bit of up/down oscillations after hitting bumps. Ive confirmed my equalizer hitch is set up correctly. I installed a RoadMaster Active Suspension kit and set it at 1mm. Ive replaced all 4 shocks on the truck with bilsteins. I am considering this or cre3000 kit. Which would help more? Should I go in a different direction like sumo springs or a shock kit? If so, which ones?

It sounds like you have a lot of up and down movement in your travel trailer while going down the road. The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Kit part # LC696740 is a better option then the MORyde kit to help eliminate some of that movement because it provides about 3" more of suspension travel capability for a smoother ride. The cushioned Road Armor system will absorb the road shock to help eliminate the up and down movement you are experiencing. I have attached the dimensions of the equalizers for your reference. You will need 10 suspension bolts part # TRFA73Z916DLNZ and 8 shackle straps per axle. If you let me know what length your shackle strap is I can recommend those.

With the Cre3000 kit, the qualifier sheet had 6 or 7 measurements I had to take to ensure theyd fit and have clearance. One of them was the space between the top of the tire and the floor of the RV. Mine has more than the 3 the Morryde kit called for, but I dont remember how much more off hand. Will the added travel of this equalizer require additional clearance to avoid tire contact with the underside of the RV? The attached instructions dont appear to address that.My shackles are 2 1/4 and Id like to replace them with a wet bolt kit. Should I go with the Morryde kit for that, or is there a more suitable choice?
