Heavy-duty shackle straps ensure strength.About as simple a swap as you could expect. Tear off all your old stuff, throw all the new stuff on and voila! A couple of floor jacks, and 2 hrs max. Great time to swap out your junk Chinese wheel bearings too. No major ride change or anything, but at least I know the links aren't going to fail like the OEM ones did. See pic. 285667
After a year and 20,000 miles, this was one of the best upgrades in towing and ride on my 42' fifth wheel. It took out a lot of the small bumps that would open cabinet's and knock things over in the shelves. Another great advantage is the bronze bushings are greasable and do not squeak like the OEM plastic, the OEM bushings had around 3000 miles and we're already worn through, the bronze if kept greased will probably last the life of the trailer. 438995
I installed the E-Z Flex Dexter K71-652-00 suspension system which was an easy afternoon task. Everything went together without any problems and was quite simple. We traveled on our first short trip of 650 miles with the new system and was great. The 30' KZ travel trailer road smoother and seem to handle better. I really recommend this system up-grade to all stock suspension systems with plastic bushings and steel equalizer. 355038
Bought this kit last year for a tandem axle car hauling trailer. The original equalizer and bushings were just wore out from normal use. The wear was creating lots of extra vibration and noise. Thought I would give this a try. I am beyond impressed. The trailer now tows and rides as good as one of my other trailers that has torsion suspension. Vibration from axle misalignment and rattles are gone! I am so impressed I have now purchased another kit for my 5th wheel camper. Have not had the 5th wheel out yet but my expectations are pretty high after the improvement I have experienced with the other trailer. Some would argue that since my camper has shocks this is redundant. My answer to that is, "shocks and springs have different jobs". Very easy to install. Only took 2.5 hours total for both sides. 600585
I like the equalizers, no more squeeking, coupled with the heavier leaf springs i have a better ride. Only one of the four doors/drawers pops open during travel now. I did have problems installing them, the axle was difficult to get back in place on one side, if I had jacked up the whole trailer (all four wheels off the ground) it would have been a lot easier, live and learn. Oh, had my 18 year old granddaughter and two of her girlfriends do almost all of the work as I had minor surgery on my shoulder a week before we did the change out, they wanted to do a 5 day campout with the trailer so the broken leaf spring had to be replaced. Very satisfied with them, the girls work and the equalizers. 654648
I gave it a 1 star for the lousy installation. I will probably give it a 5 star for how it will work. I have not pulled the 5th wheeler yet, but it looks good. The install looked so easy on your video. Totally not so. Needed 2 jacks, 1 bottle jack and 2 jack stands and 2 1 foot 2x4s. A real pain in the butt to get the bolts back into the spring eyes, but I made it. 940686
Relatively easy install with two people. It took about 2 hours total never doing this before. Be sure you have all of the tools needed before starting this install. It's a little hard to line the brackets up not sure why. The shoulder bolts would go together easier if the bolt had a slight taper and the shackle link had a slight taper to accept the shoulder bolt. So far very happy with the product. 914047
Just install today and have not road tested yet. 913217

Great upgrade, much smother ride for tr ailer. 871359
These replacement shackles and equalizer are FAR superior to the crap that's usually found on trailers. I put this on my 5th wheel toy hauler and have been VERY happy with them. The ability to grease every moving part is fantastic. 844754
Very happy with them, and had them on for about year. They are working well, I also bought new leaf springs too, plus I upgraded the new disc & rotors, electric hydraulic pump, breakaway braking system along with them, plus flipping the axels, and new shock kit. The whole job was a little bit of money, but, thinking it was well worth the effort, time, and money. She [ The Hillbilly Hillton ], a customer cargo trailer, is a real pleasure to tow around and was really made to go offroad and explore the back country. She rides like butter! : ) All parts came from etrailer, they had everything I need 821155
Not as easy I hoped. I do plumbing and carpentry work. This was more then I hoped. It took me 2 days by my self. Glad I did it 12 years old it needed it .,A great product would do it again . Thanks etrailer will use you again. 800489
I installed the Dexter E-Z Flex on my 2 axle Stealth enclosed 20ft motorcycle trailer, and man has it made a difference in the ride, inside the trailer and in my F350 as well, nothing bounces around or moves in the trailer loaded or empty, and you know it is a great soft ride when you hit the rough bridges or potholes that you cannot miss due to traffic, and there is No feedback thru the hitch, no kickback, nothing.. If you want your load to ride better, your drive to be smoother while towing this is the product to have on your trailer of any size or weight. This should be the only leaf spring stabilizer that any factory building multiple axle trailers should install.. 784630
Installed them on my 2003 Everest fifth wheel, which has a rear kitchen. I think that the ride is noticeably better. I have no way of validating this opinion as no one rides back there, and I didn’t do any before and after videos. But it seems to have less shock transmitted back to the truck, and our dishes don’t seem to be moved around so much. Installation was not too bad. I missed one step on the first side ... lubricate the pivot bolt with anti-seize provided in the kit. Not sure why I missed that, but didn’t go back to take it apart again. Worth the investment, I believe. Like buying from eTrailer because of the support and pricing. 778004
Simple straight forward install. If you're doing it yourself, bring your patience and ingenuity with you to help align the bolt holes. You can do it. 775995
Everything arrived in very good condition. With the whole trailer up on blocks, I dropped one side of a spring at a time. I placed a block under the hub so axle did not drop too far, and used a pry bar under the wheel hub to lift spring back into position. This made it very simple and easy to do. I am amazed at the amount of wear that I had on a 2-year-old RV. Though I will admit the there are about 10,000+ miles on it. The worn parts allowed the trailing axle to shift causing excessive tire wear. Now I also have to replace a couple of tires. I am hoping that the bronze bushings, wet pins, HD shackles along with the new equalizers make a stronger and longer-lasting setup. Now that everything is a part, I'll check brake shoes and magnets. If I need anything else Etrailer.com is my best source for parts. 775738
This product is a huge improvement over stock. I was having to change my bushings and links about once a year. After a year, these show no wear. No noise either. At first glance they seemed a little pricey, but let me tell you they are worth every penny! 774085
Good quality nice addition to have lubricated pins and does dampen bumps and jolts 765414
These equalizers were easy to install on my 26+ year old fifth wheel. The kit included everything needed for installation, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. They have performed well, the trailer now rides much quieter and is a great DIY upgrade. 761816
I originally ordered this kit because last fall I broke a shackle on my trip home. I ended up with a blown tire and over a thousand dollars damage. The trailer was parked for the winter. This spring I started looking for ways to beef up the shackle system, etrailer came up during a web search. Because of the weather I have not been able to install the kit. However in comparison to the original configuration in my opinion This kit will provide added durability and comfort. I have called etrailer with questions about install and have been treated with respect and knowledge from the customer service. I will be using etrailer for all my campers chassis needs. Thank you very much. 759088
Best investment, ride is smooth Everything about this product is awesome, super heavy duty upgrade, a must on any travel trailer if not included already 758652
I purchased this to replace the conventional equalizer setup that came on my enclosed trailer. After a year I can tell you that this “wet” system is a much better fit for the way I use my trailer. I tow at the capacity of my trailer daily (10k) and the standard equalizers and spring shackles would be worn out after a year. This system rides much smoother and still looks like it did the day I put it on. Can’t recommend this setup enough for anyone that tows heavy and frequently! 752690
Two years age we were on a 11,000 mile trip to Alaska from Minnesota. About 5,000 miles in we experienced major shackle failure on our 2008 fifth wheel. Upon replacing one side only (other side looked OK) with another set of stock, thin shackle holders and plastic bushing, I purchased another set for "just in case" and continued on our journey. Approximately 2,000 miles later the other side failed and was replaced with my spares i bought earlier. Long story short, when we returned back home, i immediately ordered a set of much, much heavier duty hangers, heavier bolts with brass bushing that are also grease-able. Also ordered were the E-Z Flex suspension system which takes most of the road shock and jarring away from the trailer. I've noticed that most all the newer, larger fifth wheels have this type of similar suspension system as standard equipment now. love the product. works perfectly. I had a local garage replace mine, but can do on your own in your driveway if inclined to do so. Great product and will demand it on our next unit if not already provided. 739967
