After installing my new E-Z Flex Suspension kit a year ago I have travelled close to 25k with out any problems and it held up even after breaking a leaf spring and then later the leaf spring bracket that is welded to the frame. I am super impressed with this product and wonder why Heartland does not use it when they build there trailers. 714107

Great product. As an industrial designer (retired), ...kept the machine shop, I dread the quality of pretty much everything I order. Sure, one bronze bushing needed to be pressed in further and a nut was missing due to UPS's classic handling, but the end product can only be described as 'OVERKILL'. Thanks for saving one very poorly designed Lamar dump load trailer ...requiring an axle flip to have any suspension travel at all. 561493

This eliminated the suspension squeak on my 12 year old 5th wheel. All of the plastic bushings were worn through. 308216

Thanks to Jessie @ e-trailer i received my order in a prompt and secure method. Although I have not begun the assembly yet because of weather conditions, I did inspect all the parts received and as per my previous experience with e-trailer they were right on. Install will be a breeze. 564250

Parts are well constructed and once installed, make the ride significantly smoother. I am a weekend mechanic so to speak, and the installation was not difficult, but at least on my Grand Design, I ended up having to take off the Rear leaf shackle to the after most pins installed on both sides. 867952

Product seems good packaging not so much. One bushing was fractured upon delievery. However E trailer made it right and even overnight shiped a new bushing at no charge. Great service from E trailer 865005

One of the shackle assemblies had bad threading. etrailer was able to get an replacement sent directly from Dexter for free. Just installed and went for a tow. Very nice difference. Much improved ride. Install is a little challenging if you are an average Joe. Make sure you buy the right tools. 6+ Ton jack stands and air/hydraulic bottle jack from Harbor Freight, along with a decent impact and torque wrench and you can do this in a day. 827789

I have no complaints after 1 year and approx. 10k miles use on them. They have dramatically improved the ride on my trailer and all but eliminated the squeaking and creaking I was getting before. We grease them every month or so, and have had no issues from them at all. 821268

Very heavy duty and easy to install.Seems to help cushion the ride on my fifth wheel toy hauler.I was over 3000 miles from home when I discovered the old shackles had failed and they shipped these to me and I received them in a day or so. 785075

Have had product for about a year. Only used trailer 14-1500 miles with product installed. Trailer seemed to pull easier after rebuilding undercarriage . Fuel use may have been a little less but wasn't huge difference. Don't believe the ride was (in trailer) different a lot of stuff behind axle was on floor but every trailer we have had did that. We probably ran a little faster and felt trailer pulled better but the roads were rough in places and stuff bounced around. I like the design of parts and noticed some new trailers are using these equalizers. We put these on a 2010 keystone raptor with tandem axles they are far superior to original equalizers. 782837

The Dexter EZ Flex equalizer system with heavy duty shackles, combined with Sumo Springs, made a huge difference in the amount of trailer bounce I experienced in towing a 34' travel trailer. The entire rig is much more stable and under control. Towing went from scary to mildly pleasant. I was very pleased with the customer service I recieved and would recommend them to anyone. 736954

Wow what an improvement over the last shackles and equalizers I had. I had called mthe business that put on my last shackles and asked them if there was anything better as they only lasted a year and a half. He said no, so I looked on-line myself and found etrailer and talked to their service rep. I ordered the complete package and I was so impressed with the quality. The big thing for me was the grease zerks and the size of the shackles. My brother-in law and I installed these on both sides in about 3 1/2 hours. We spent a lot of time looking for the proper tools to try to make things easier. The second side was done in about and hour. Great product at a good price. 625326

Great product. Easy install. My bushings were gone and suspension squeaks. Now I go through a parking lot with speed bumps and rolls right over them. Also great handling on the highway 605342

  • Dexter EZ Flex Equalizers for 6,000 Pound Axles on a 2006 Heartland Bighorn 5th Wheel
The length is good on the EZ Flex system # K71-653-00 but the height may be different depending on where you are measuring that 4-3/4 inches. On the EZ Flex the distance from the center of the mounting hole to the center line between the 2 bottom holes, straight up and down, is 2-7/8 inches. If your 4-3/4 inch measurement is diagonal then you will be good to go with this kit. For a u-bolt kit you can use # APUBR-9. The shocks might actually feel more effective with the EZ Flex kit...
