Size Thread Tap to Clean Weld Nuts to Install Trailer Hitch on 2014 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Hello, Whats the tap size that I can use to either clean or enlarge 1 size? I followed your suggestion how to clean rusty bolt holes for 2 weeks now and still a no go. I was thinking of bring my car to a shop to tap, clean, perhaps make a new holes, any suggestion again? Thanks,

The install bolts of the etrailer hitch part # e98864 that you referenced are size M12x1.25 so the size tap you'd need is the M12x1.25. The thread tap route is the best route for cleaning out weld nuts so you are on the right track!
