The 12 volt trailer battery charge circuit is not active on certain models when in park or during gear shifting so if you were trying to test this via the pins on the trailer connector this would be why it is not active. Also, the 12 volt trailer battery charge circuit must first be activated via the in-dash screen. If you need help with doing this you can refer to the owner's manual.
If the 12 volt trailer battery charge circuit is still not active after addressing the above then you will first want to check your fuse box for any blown fuses but if all else fails you can either take your truck to the dealer for service or just run your own wire with part # 10-1-1 and part # 9510.

Connor can you advise how to turn this feature off on a 2018 F150? I'm not sure why Ford even came up with this feature being you want your trailer battery to charge as much as possible. Plus it doesn't let you access your electric trailer jack if you have one.
