Question:

Wind took my instructions and blew them to parts unknown. What is the torque setting for the bolts attaching the hitch to the vehicle?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75282 requires all hardware be torqued to 68 foot pounds according to the instructions. I've attached a photo in case you need anything else for this installation as well as a video.

Hey Joseph, yes the install harness you have from your 2018 Nissan Frontier like the part #3050-P also fits the 2024 models so what you have now would carry right over.

The Torque Specification is found in the installation instructions on our product page on the etrailer #e98846 receiver hitch. A Torque Wrench #PT87ZR would be the type that you would need to achieve that rating.

Yes, if you install the Stromberg Carlson trailer hitch #SC45MR by welding it you'd have a 3,500 lb towing capacity which be more than enough to tow a 3,000 lb trailer.
