The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.Like mentioned in many other comments, doesn't accurately line up with the mount points, it was about 3/8in off. I had to use c-clamps to bend it enough and then use a dremmel to grind the hole so I could get the bolt in.
The box arrived pretty banged up. What should've been a 20 min job took well over an hour.
That being said, now that it's in it's pretty sturdy. So I guess the moral of the story is buyer beware if you want to save a few bucks on this one.
This hitch is definitely well built and solid! I gave it 4 stars only because the box did come in rough shape. Which I know was during delivery but I’m not 100% if the hitch was bent before it was sent out or during the delivery process. The paint on one side was cracked when I opened the box. Regardless I’m very happy with this purchase and etrailer held the best price during my search! Great product!
This is the 3rd hitch ordered from etrailer. This hitch was placed in an oversized box with nothing protecting the ends. It arrived with both ends protruding from the box and I assume was damaged in shipment since the holes do not line up. The box was left in the rain so it cannot be used for returning. A simple job that should have taken 10 minutes was terminated after an hour of fighting with something simple. I do not intend on trying to bend it back into shape because of poor packaging by etrailer. I want a new hitch

It’s exactly what I wanted and I installed it in less than an hour and that was tool set up and clean up. Very nice.

I bought a hitch and wiring harness once before from e trailer and had an excellent experience. So when I needed another one I didn't hesitate to buy from E Trailer again. Product was a great price and shipped quickly. My item came well packaged. Very happy with this company.
Ordered to fit a 2024 Nissan Frontier. First one, box arrived broken and hitch bent to where I can’t install it. Second one arrives in a busted up box, also bent but on the other side. Pictures included, I tried to bend these into place but it’s almost an inch off. Two stars because customer service has been great - just dissatisfied with shipping and state of product at delivery.
First hitch did not fit, and had to be returned. Second hitch did not fit. Mounting holes were elongated to fit. Never will purchase a Draw-Tite hitch again. Very poor quality.

Huh, that is odd. This hitch is a confirmed fit for your 2024 Nissan Frontier; so there should have been no issue. Lets go ahead and get a return processed for you.
Wow! Crawl under truck with son as a helper to hand tight bolts on both sides! Could only get one side aligned! I’m under the truck it’s hot and sweaty but couldn’t get out of mind how we should be finished already! Why can’t they give more tolerance? We are about a half inch off so I give in and make an appointment with the professional shop that installed my hitch on the SUV! They said they could work with it but that’s 190.00! By the time I buy c clamps and drill bits etc. I conceded! Let the experts install it! But… it should have been so easy!!
Did my install all by myself in 30 minutes. Fit great and good clearance around spare tire and exhaust pipe.
This hitch receiver fit my truck perfectly. The finish is excellent and should be very durable. Shipping was faster than expected and shipment arrived intact and well packaged.
Installation notes:
1: It is much easier to install if you drop your spare tire before starting. You will have more room to work. Take this opportunity to clean, inspect, and lubricate the spare winch, and re-inflate your spare tire.
2: The right side is difficult to bolt up due to close clearance of the tailpipe. One can use a ratchet strap to pull the tailpipe just out of the way. The forward-most bolt on the right side of the receiver is otherwise occluded by the tailpipe.
3: The torque specification for the mounting bolts is 68ftlbs. Do not over-torque. You will strip the weld nuts in the frame. It is challenging to fit the torque wrench in around the tailpipe.
This receiver hitch is heavy duty and very well made. The welds are all smooth and uniform, and the powder coating was great. The bolts and mounting hardware were shipped safely in a sealed plastic bag tucked inside the receiver tube. Install on my Nissan Truck was easy. I would recommend running the threads on the truck frame before attempting to bolt the receiver hitch in place as the factory bolt holes can get filled with dirt and grime.
Excellent fit and finish. Welds are great. Bolted right up - super easy with no problems - I bet it took only 20 minutes to install it to my 22 Frontier, using only a floor jack to support out and a 19mm socket. Shipping was super fast, 2 days.
Both the product and etrailer are highly recommended.
I installed the Draw-Tite class III on my 2014 Nissan Frontier without much problem. Since I did not have a spare set of hands, I used 2 scissors jacks, one at each end of the hitch, to raise the hitch very close to the frame where they would be bolted. I discovered there is some slip play in the hitch bolt holes, so did not tighten any of the bolts until all 6 bolts were threaded part way into the holes. I then tapped the hitch as far back as it would move toward the back bumper and tightened all 6 bolts. It's a good solid fit. I will be using it to help haul an 18 ft kayak and alternately a bike rack. We also have a 26 ft Trailmanor camper.

Product arrived in good condition and all parts were present.
I used a floor jack to raise the hitch into position and maneuver it while doing so as I worked alone. The instructions included were minimal but did provide the proper torque for the bolts. The online installation videos were _very_ helpful. I also was helped by a tip from a reviewer in one of the comments to use a clamp to align the bolt holes with the weldnuts because the final hole was just a fraction of an inch off from allowing the bolt to thread in easily. Installing the hitch portion took about 45 minutes for me but I took my time.

Working fine.
Was delivered quickly. 2022 Nissan Frontier. I thought nuts were missing but realized bolts screwed directly in to the frame after reading included directions. Fit great. Install under 30 minutes. I've purchased several hitches from and always works good.

Still solid. Paint and finish holds up well. All hitches Ive ordered from etrailer install well and look like they are straight from factory.
The overall construction is good the holes did. Not line up so had to do some minor fabrication to make it work the box looked like it had been run over by a forklift when I got it sadly I find this par for the course nowadays being a small business owner I learned a long time ago I can't teach pride and I can't fix stupid.....oh well

It sounds like the side brackets of the hitch were out of alignment which will cause the holes to not line up properly. We do have a FAQ that will give pointers on how to move them back into place. I have linked it below.

Five of the six screws fit, the sixth one right under the tail pipe doesn’t, the slot on the hitch mounting plate is half a hole off.
Really strong, good quality hitch! I like that it has the electrical mount pre-installed. It is the easiest hitch I have ever installed.
Got the hitch and wiring harness for my 2018 Nissan Frontier a year ago, my sons installed it as a Fathers day gift, it was easy to install and works awesome. Happy i got it, etrailer made it easy to order and the instructional videos were very helpful.

Still holding up well but showing a little rust.
Well made, well finished and heavy duty product! If you are even halfway handy, you can install this yourself. Like anything, fitting is exact.
Bolt holes were misaligned by about an inch. I used the trailer how to guide for installing a bent hitch to get it on (used a bottle jack and a scrap of 4x4 to flex the mounting brackets into place). Ultimately it took me 2.5 hours to get the 6 bolts in which is insane. I decided not to send it back since there was a chance the new one would be bent too.
Overall, construction seems nice, but the QC needs some work to make this job reasonable for regular folks!
I was extremely impressed with the person who helped me. This person was very knowledgeable about the products I was interested in. That’s hard to find these days. Not only was this person very knowledgeable this person took all my info very quickly and processed it and I had my order in record time. I was blown away by how fast it took from the time I called till I had the product in my hand. I have never had an order from any place in the country happen as quickly and with such a nice person as with trailer. I can just say great company. Thank you all
The Draw-Tite feels very sturdy and installed as expected after reading owner reviews It just took a little finessing, a couple of cuss words and a motorcycle Jack for me to install it by myself.
At the time of this review, it's just been installed, so I haven't had the opportunity to tow with it. First job will be to transport a motorcycle using a car trailer.

I am completely satisfied with the Draw-Tite hitch. Id buy it again.
Poorly packaged. etrailer put the hitch in a cardboard box without reinforcement or padding and unsurprisingly the shipment arrived damaged. The trailer hitch broke through in 3 places causing damage.

I am sorry that this hitch arrived flexed. It actually is quite common when it comes to shipping hitches. You did exactly what we suggest to do, which is using clamps and/or a vise to bend the wings back into place.
