The options to carry bikes on your 2019 Honda CR-V are the roof (which you said you don't want), a trailer hitch (which you don't currently have), or on the trunk. The trunk mount appears to be your obvious option. Putting a trunk mount rack onto SUVs with a rear hatch can sometimes be tricky; however, the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top, part # HRF2, is the clear solution. It has a high-rise frame which reaches over the top of the hach and the spoiler. A lot of racks either don't sit on the hatch at all or they put pressure on the spoiler which could damage it. I've linked a video of the rack for you.
With that being said trunk mount racks can be kind of a hassle. They're also limited in weight capacity and certainly not ideal if you're going to be carrying bikes a long way. If you're interested in adding a trailer hitch receiver to your CR-V you can really upgrade your options for a bike rack.
If this is something you want to look into first you need a hitch. I recommend the etrailer.com hitch, part # E98848. I like how the crosstube is hidden behind the rear bumper and all you see is the receiver opening sticking out. It's a much cleaner look than the hitches that show the entire crosstube under the bumper. You should know, if your CR-V has the hands-free lift gate the hitch will interfere with it. Honda does sell a kit to relocate the sensor for the lift gate to fix this though.
Then for a bike rack you might like the RockyMounts MonoRail, part # RKY10004. It'll have no problem holding mountain bikes up to 60 pounds each. It also includes locks for the rack itself and the bikes. Plus, it's a little lighter than most platform racks at 51 pounds. I've linked another video that shows off the MonoRail for you as well.
