Where to Measure to Determine Correct Size Brake Shoes Trailer Brakes Need
Question:
How are the brake shoes measured The width is 2 in. and i assume you measure the length of the shoe at the widest part?

Are you trying to pick out brake shoes or all new brake assemblies? Normally you measure the depth of the hub drum and then measure the diameter of it and you'll know which size you have. I attached a picture that shows where to measure. If shoes are what you need let me know what brand you have and I'll see if we can find a replacement.
