The best and easiest way to install a round 4" tail light like the Miro-Flex LED Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light part # STL23RB on a trailer would be to first clean the edges of the holes (no sharp metal) and then spray some soapy water on the gourmet while slipping it into place being careful not to tear the rubber. Once the grommet is in place you will then what to run the pigtail harness though the hole and plug it into the back of the light. Then you can then insert the tail light into the grommet.
If you need the correct grommet for this light then you can use part # A45GB and part # A45PB for the pigtail harness. I also highly recommend using part # DW05744-5 to join the wires together as they have heat shrink bodies which works to keep out dirt and moisture.
