The Thule T2 Pro X # TH83GC carries 2 bikes, has a hitch lock but the bike locks are sold separately. It carries bikes up to 50 pound with a max tire width of 3 inches. The distance from the hitch pin to the closest part of the rack is 6-3/4 inches. It fits tires with a wheel diameter of 20" to 29" and with a maximum wheelbase distance of 49 inches. It offers a 2-bike add-on with part # TH55GC. You can buy the rack and add-on together with part # TH26ZE if you think you might carry 4 bikes sometimes.
The Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV is a step up from the T2 Pro X rack. The T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV carries 2 bikes, has a hitch lock and bike likes included. It carries bikes up to 60 pounds with a max tire width of 5 inches. The distance from the hitch pin to the closest part of the rack is 7 inches. It fits tires with a wheel diameter of 20" to 29" which is the same as the Pro X and with a maximum wheelbase distance of 50-1/2 inches. It offers a 2-bike add-on with part # TH9036XT. You can also buy the rack and add-on together as part # TH69TX.
These two racks are very similar. The difference is the T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV includes locks for the bikes, accommodates 2" more tire width and 10 pounds more bike weight. It also has a longer wheel base by 1-1/2 inches and has 1/4 " more clearance from the hitch pin hole.
They are both great racks that are made in the USA and offer limited lifetime warranties. You just need to decide if the added features of the T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV are beneficial to you. I think the locks included for the bikes are definitely worth the upgrade.
