Can a Hoveround Electric Wheelchair be Carried on a Cargo Carrier with a 2013 Nissan Altima

I have a 2013 Nissan Altima, I need to carry a hover round on my vehicle . the curt hitch is rated at 200 lbs tongue weight will I be able to carry a carrier plus a hover round?

From my research a Hoveround electric wheelchair weighs in the ballpark of about 170 pounds or so. That means you need a carrier that's large enough but only weighs 30 pounds to stay under the 200 pound maximum tongue weight of a Curt trailer hitch for your Nissan Altima. Curt hitch part # C11352 for a sedan, is rated at 200 pounds of tongue weight. However, you should also check the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle itself. It's likely lower than the 200 pounds of the Curt hitches.
I also found a Hoveround to be 38 inches long and 24 inches wide. Unfortunately, we don't have a carrier that fits the dimensions you need for a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver.
