Trailer leaf springs can grow longer after many years of use. A new springs that measures 25-1/4-inches long like # e57SR could easily measure 25-1/2-inches after years in service on a trailer. Springs can lengthen as much as 3/4 of an inch. If your old spring measured 25-1/2 you can safely conclude that it is actually a 25-1/4-inch.
Our main leaf spring page is linked for you. Just click on your dimension and axle weight rating to see suitable options.
Generally you want no less than 3-inches of space between the tire's top tread surface and the trailer frame. Odds are that your new springs (always replace all springs at the same time) will lift the trailer slightly thanks to them being stiffer than the old ones.

I am rebuilding a heavy utility trailer. The trailer was home build. Rust has taking hard at its springs and I would like to replace them. The springs are eye to eye with a length of 41 inches. They are a 1 an 3/4 wide with 8 leafs. I have not been able to find anything online even close.. The trailer is double wheeled with a single axle and walking beams. 5 X 10. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
