I've had these nerf bars for about a year now. Installed on a 2024 Silverado 1500. They look nice and have been solid so far. They do hang down a bit too low away from the bottom of the truck cab. Wish they sit up an inch or two higher away from the ground. Overall I'm generally happy with them and give them 4 stars.
The bars were mostly easy to install. I didnt have a torque wrench handy but fortunately I was able to borrow one to finish the installation. They fit my Tacoma very well and look great on.
These arrived a day earlier than was told. The box was in good condition and all of the parts were included. The installation instructions were good and the online videos helped. I installed them right after they were delivered. The bars look really good, I'm surprised at only 3 mounts per side though. Kinda looks like it should have 4. They are solid and I'm expecting many years of use.

I'm an athletic 6ft male that feels less like an old man getting in and out of our 2025 GMC 3500 due to the steps.
Also,I keep a lot of dirt bike related items packed on the rear seat and floor. Having the step makes it possible to standing it, lean in and find what I need without having to take things out. Saves so much time and energy. I never would have thought about the step helping me other than getting in and out. It's a great "tool" to have.
Great set of side steps for the money. They dont stick out or down too much and give me a place to step in easier. Quickly shipped, arrived on great condition. Side steps themselves marked backwards (driver side rail had a "passenger" sticker on it. Human screw up, so trust the photos and your process. I tried the other side and it was spot on. Thanks trailer for the great price and quick handling.
Awesome addition to my truck. Second set of Westin nerf bars. My truck needed an update! Love the SS oval nrf bars. Original bars were the e-series and looked good for 7 years. Just needed a change and the bracket covers add that finished touch to the install.

When I received the running boards, the box looked like it was attacked by a grizzly. Luckily nothing was damaged inside. The instructions say that you need a 3/8" wrench, but a 3/8" does not fit, the smaller nut/bolt heads are actually 10mm. The polish around the foot pads looks like it was done by Ray Charles. That said, from a distance these running boards look great, especially if you have chrome bumpers and grille. The install was pretty easy. Now short people can get in and out of my truck with no problem.
I am very happy with the quality of the Westin Nerf Bars for my Ram 1500 crew cab 2015. However, the rear support had to be changed - PR went on drivers side & DR went on passengers side. A needed requirement for easy entrance to the cab. This makes my wife happy and I have a happy life.
Approximately one year ago I purchased a pair of polished stainless steel Westin PRO TRAXX 4-inch Oval Nerf Bars to install on my new 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie Quadcab. The product came with mounting instructions which made the installation process very easy. Subsequently, many compliments have been received on these nerf bars as to how the polished stainless steel enhances the appearance of the truck. Accordingly, I am very happy with these nerf bars and would recommend same to anyone.
