Great product, and perfect fit. Gave me the perfect offset that I needed to keep my trailer from hitting the cab. Highly recommend if you have a short wheel base truck and pulling a deck over gooseneck trailer!
I haven’t used it yet, I am concerned about it being about 3/4” off the bed. I am thinking about pupping a spacer between it and the bed. Worried about it bending

Thanks for your review. This gap is normal since it fits a few different vehicles. It is safe and should not bend. You can put a washer there for peace of mind, but as long as you do not go over the weight capacity, it is not necessary.
This product works great for short bed truck. This product gives you more turning radius with out knocking your back window out.
Truck is a 2500 Ram, pulling 42ft gooseneck.

The hitch works flawlessly. No Jinking sloppy movements at all. With the Gen-Y Gooseneck coupled to the Curt Crosswing 20k hitch. This is a winning combination. I have Montana 40ft fifth wheel weighing close to 15k loaded, it pulls like a dream. I can drive with one hand if a want to. I have Ram 3500 Mega Cab. The offset Ball set it back enough to clear Cab with room to spare. I recommend this combination to make towing effortless.
I also have to say that the people like Adam & other staff working with me lead me in the right direction. These guys know what their are doing. Thx etrailer for all your help. Thx Adam....Robert ::::))))

The ball was shipped in a very timely fashion. Box was a little smashed but not your problem.
Ordered this ball for the "what if" cases for our GMC Sierra 2500. Only had to use it once for a hard back in. Glad we had it!

Fast shipping... The B&W 4in extension hitch ball is really good. I have used it a couple of times works great wish I had gotten one sooner. Problem I had was in a newer 2500hd the gooseneck was to close to toolbox and really close to rear window. With this extender ball problem is solved...
Great addition to add if you have a standard box with a tri-fold tonneau cover and want to keep the cover on vs taking it off every time you pull your gooseneck trailer!
High Quality, Heavy duty 4” offset ball mount that works perfectly with the B&W turnover gooseneck hitch system. Adapted my 30’’ fifth wheel trailer with the Ranch regular gooseneck adapter—now no more heavy lifting and lots more room in the truck bed.
I have used this offset ball in the B&W gooseneck hitch I installed in my regular box 2022 Chevy 3500 to tow our 13K GVWR fifth wheel with Reese Goosebox for over six months now and I love it! The offset ball combined with the placement of the hitch in a 2020+ Chevy means I can turn a full 90 degrees if necessary. And fully loaded, our truck is still within specs on all weight ratings, including rear axle weight.
I bought this to move hitch weight forward 4" so I reversed the described installation. This is because on my 2024 Sierra 2500 the B&W (and factory) hitch connection to ball is behind the axle by roughly the offset.
That extended ball worked great. Really helped getting my stock trailer into a better spot for the truck!

This product is exactly what I needed to offset our new “Reese Goose-box” pin box to better accommodate the clearance for the fuel tank and tool box in the bed of our truck. Thanks to the knowledge of the “etrailer” staff (specifically Stacy) she went the extra mile, taking additional time to assure all the products I needed were perfect for my application. Thank you Stacy for all your assistance and patience with my order.
P.S. I added the yellow strip down the center of the pin box to help guide me when hooking up. Perhaps “Reese” will add this little idea to their future pin boxes as an option?

This product works great and allows so much more usable room in the bed than our previous 5th wheel hitch which, was becoming too heavy to remove frequently when needing to haul materials.

Works exactly as I need it to. Having a 38 ft, 96" wide goose neck Keystone Cougar trailer and a RAM 2500 with 6'4" bed, I needed offset on my hitch for safety purposes.
I have a few thousand miles of travel using this setup and it works fantastic. I spray on a dry lube before every use but have had most of the protective coating on the ball come off, which is what I expect to happen with heavy use.
I would would buy again, if needed, but I expect years more use out of this BAll.

After thousands of additional miles, Im still absolutely thrilled with this offset hitch! As a follow-up to my previous review, and after even more frequent and heavier usage towing my gooseneck camping trailer, I can confidently say its been a game-changer. The performance remains flawless, consistently exceeding my expectations under these more demanding conditions. To further enhance the towing experience over the past year, I added the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Rear Air Helper Springs ITEM AL88289, which complement the hitch perfectly and provide added stability. In fact, Im so impressed with this hitch that I fully expect to continue using it for years to come, even when the time comes to purchase future trailers. It just works that well, giving me the confidence and stability I need for safe and comfortable towing.
Got the offset hitch ball I ordered
I’ve only towed with it once, but it gives the extra turning room that is needed. I can almost get to 90 in my 25 F250 short bed. It also creates more room in the bed for getting in and connecting the safety chains.
One small negative is that the amount of bounce and chucking is slightly increased due to the hitch now being behind the axel.
Something that will hopefully fixed easily by installing Timbren bump stops to give more support.
Very well built, definitely heavy duty! The only issue for me is because its lifted above the floor a little my Pullright 5th wheel companion hitch won’t tighten down without shimming the hitch up. I don’t like using wood under it but, I’ll try it.

Glad you like it, Elton! Well, other than having to use shims, of course. This can lift things up a bit so I do hear people say they need to shim them in one way or another. I would go with some hard rubber though. I don't remember what it is called, but you can get it at pretty much any hardware store. I have a bunch of it in my garage and basement to protect the cement floor. I think you can even get it cut to size. It's 1" thick and is super durable. I think it would hold up better than wood.
Ball works great. No flex or bounce with the offset, it’s rock solid. I’m an owner/operator trucker with 34 years hauling all sorts of equipment. I’ve got lots of experience with every kind of hitch and trailer setup and this one is top notch. For anyone thinking of buying one of those cheap China knockoffs from another website, don’t do it!!! It’s not worth the risk or liability if you loose your trailer in transit. This hitch ball it’s professionally engineered and tested and worth every penny!!

Excellent product
