Question:

Good morning. I am picking up a new 2027 Ford F-350 and I opted to get one without the factory puck system. I am a looking for the correct B&W gooseneck hitch. Could you tell me which one I need for my truck?

Congrats on the new truck Josh. The B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch item # BW73FR is the correct one for your new 2027 Ford F-350. This gooseneck hitch is custom fit and includes all hardware necessary to complete installation on your truck. It has a massive 30,000 lbs capacity and is compatible with both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths.

The B&W Turnoverball item # BW73FR allows you to store the 2-5/16" hitch ball upside down and inside your bed when you are not using it. This gives you full access to your bed when you're not towing. The locking handle is easily accessible inside your driver's side rear wheel well.

To make towing with a gooseneck trailer easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C57008. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your F-350 and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your gooseneck trailer easier and more convenient.

What kind of trailer are you pulling and how long is your F-350's bed? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Thank you so much. I pull a livestock trailer and a car trailer. The truck has a 6-3/4' long bed.

@Josh You're welcome. Since your F-350 has the shorter bed, I recommend using the 4" Offset Ball item # BWGNXA4085. This 2-5/16" gooseneck ball is designed specifically for the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch item # BW73FR. It will push the connection point back 4" towards your tailgate to provide you with some extra turning clearance.
